Join Showcased at CFI Innovation Dinner
Join was proud to be featured at the recent Center for Innovation in Design and Construction (CFI) Innovation Dinner: Costs and Collaboration—an evening dedicated to tackling some of the construction industry’s most pressing preconstruction challenges. Held at DPR Construction’s Redwood City office, the event brought together industry leaders, forward-thinking builders, and technology innovators for an evening of thought leadership and collaboration.
Join CEO Andrew Zukoski shared how our collaborative project delivery platform is bridging the gap that exists between owners, contractors, and design teams.
With more than 40% of ENR’s top 50 contractors using Join, the platform is fast becoming the go-to solution for collaborative teams looking to make smarter, more transparent decisions that lead to better project outcomes.

Turning Data Into Better Decisions
One of the highlights of the evening was showcasing how Join enables teams to leverage real-time data and past project insights to continuously improve outcomes. With tools for benchmarking, tracking Target Value Design (TVD), and aligning stakeholder input, Join is giving teams the power to make informed decisions that align with cost, design intent, and schedule.

Jason Brenner, Head of Industry Strategy at Join, also shared his journey from boots-on-the-ground construction to construction tech, illustrating how the platform brings theory into practice—especially around concepts like swim lanes, design milestones, and cost modeling.
Real Conversations, Real Challenges
Following the presentations, attendees participated in breakout discussions that surfaced key challenges in preconstruction workflows, including cost transparency, data fragmentation, and siloed decision-making. The conversations sparked new ideas, partnerships, and a renewed focus on how technology can better support precon teams.
Thank You
A special thanks to Stuart Eckblad, FAIA, NAC, and and Zigmund Rubel, FAIA, whose leadership continues to drive innovation and connection within the construction community. Thank you, also, to DPR’s Atul Khanzode for organizing and promoting the event; and to Doanh Do, editor and co-founder of the Lean Construction Blog, and Cristobal Gonzalez, brand/image strategist, for their ongoing promotion of CFI and lean construction. Join is honored to have been part of this evolving dialogue and excited to continue shaping the future of collaborative construction.
